Winchester Division, is recalling a lot of 22 Caliber Subsonic Ammunition.

cartridges is small, any shooters who have purchased Remington .243 Winchester, 100 gr., PSP, centerfire ammunition, index #R243W3
since July 1992, are requested by Remington not to use them. They are requested to contact Remington first by calling the toll-free

CBC, 7.62MM X 51MM CALIBER CARTRIDGES
RECALL: It
has come to our attention that CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges from lots dated 1975 may pose a serious safety risk. The
specific cartridges in question bear the headstamp "CBC 7.62 75".
We hereby provide written
notice to you that a potential hazard may exist with respect to outdated CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges. There is a reported
risk that such cartridges may cause excess pressure upon discharge and could result in serious bodily injury or damage.
Under no circumstances
should these cartridges be used, given to anyone, or sold.
There have been isolated
reports of rifles bursting as a result of excessive pressure in what appear to be these outdated CBC cartridges. An
independent testing lab reports that it detected a peak pressure that they estimated to be in excess of 130,000 CUP in one out of a
batch of 20 outdated CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges dated 1975 that it tested.
CBC 7.62mm x 51mm
cartridges are manufactured solely for military use in several nations around the world. CBC has not exported or sold any of
these cartridges to or in the United States. These particular cartridges are not intended for civilian use under any
circumstances.
In addition, a warning is
issued for any CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges from any year that bear a label on the packing material with the Spanish word "reengastada".
That label was not affixed by CBC, and its application to ammunition is not yet clear.
Anyone who has, or believes
they have, CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges from lots dated 1975, or CBC 7.62mm x 51mm cartridges from any year with the word "reengastada"

WINCHESTER, 30-06 SPRINGFIELD CALIBER, SUPER X
RECALL: Olin
Corporation, through its Winchester Division, is recalling one (1) lot of its Super-X7 30-06 Springfield, 180 Gr.
Power-Point (S.P.) ammunition (Symbol Number X30064).
Through
extensive evaluation, Winchester has determined that a small number of cartridges of
LOT NUMBER 137HF22
Super-X7 30-06 Springfield, 180 gr. Power-Point Ammunition may contain low powder charges. These low powder charges can cause a
squib, or weak shot, which could result in a bullet remaining in the barrel after firing, obstructing the barrel. Firing a second
shot into the obstructed barrel will cause firearm damage, and will subject the shooter and bystanders to a risk of personal
injury.
DO NOT USE
WINCHESTER SUPER-X 30-06 SPRINGFIELD, 180 GR. POWER-POINT LOT NUMBER 137HF22.
The ammunition lot number is stamped on the inside of
the flap of the ammunition box.
To
determine if your ammunition is subject to this notice, review the lot number. If it contains LOT NUMBER 137HF22,
return the ammunition to Winchester at this address:

REMINGTON, 12 GAUGE, 00 BUCKSHOT, 9 PELLET
RECALL: The
Remington Arms Company is recalling a quantity of 12gauge, 2-3/4 inch, 9-pellet, 00 buckshot shells produced during 1988.
A limited number of these
shotshells were found to have been manufactured without powder. Using a powderless shell would result in a failure of the shell to
fire properly and could possibly result in a wad being lodged in the barrel. In law enforcement applications, this could impair an
officer's ability to return fire.
While the total number of
affected shotshells is small, Remington asks that you withdraw from use any of their 2-3/4 inch, non-magnum, 00 buckshot shotshells
if they were purchased since June 1988. Then, call Remington at either of the following toll-free numbers to determine if your
shotshells are in an affected lot.
In USA call
1-800-654-2459. In Canada: call I-800-654-540l.
When you call, you'll need
the product code Identification and lot number, both of which appear on the packaging. The product code identification is located on
both end-flaps of the 5-shotshell box and on both end-labels of the 250-shotshell package. This identification should read:
Remington, 00 Buckshot,
12 Gauge, 2-3/4 inch, 3-3/4-Dr. Eq., 9 pellets
The lot number locations are as follows:
On 5-pack boxes:
on the inside, facing part of the top flap
On 250-shell cases:
at the lower, right-hand corner of both end-labels.
The lot number will be an 8 or 9-digit combination of
letters and numbers; for example:AJ21J532.
Only the following LOT NUMBERS are being
recalled:
AJ (any #) J522 or 523 or 532
BJ (any
